2.2 Article length
Each submitted manuscript should not exceed 20 pages, including the title page, the main text, tables, figures, references, and appendices.
2.3 Article structure
- Subdivision: Divide your article into clearly defined sections numbered with consecutive numbers starting with the Introduction. Subsections should be numbered 1.1 (then 1.1.1, 1.1.2, ...), 1.2, etc.
- Footnotes: Footnotes should be used sparingly. Number them consecutively throughout the article, using superscript Arabic numbers. Microsoft Word builds footnotes into the text, and this feature should be used.
- Tables: Number tables consecutively (i.e., Table 1, Table 2, ...) in accordance with their appearance in the text.
- Figures: Number figures consecutively (i.e., Figure 1, Figure 2, ...) in accordance with their appearance in the text.
2.4 Essential information on the title page
- Article title: The article title should be written in bold (first letters in capital letters) and should be concise and informative. Abbreviations and formulae should not be used in the article title.
- Author names and affiliations: The given name(s) should be followed by the family name(s) of each author. Present each author's affiliation(s) and email address below the author's names.
- Corresponding author: Clearly indicate who is the corresponding author by an asterisk (*) beside the author's name.
- Abstract: The abstract should be 100-200 words. It should be concise and factual in explaining the purpose of the research, the principal findings, and the conclusions. References should be avoided in the abstract. Abbreviations are allowed in the abstract but they should be clearly defined.
- Keywords: Immediately after the abstract, provide a maximum of 4 keywords. The keywords should not contain abbreviations.
2.5 Acknowledgements
- Collate acknowledgements in a separate section at the end of the article before the references and do not include them on the title page. The acknowledgement should not exceed 150 words.
2.6 References
- Reference style in the text: Every reference cited in the text should be present in the reference list, and vice versa. More than one reference from the same author(s) in the same year should be identified by letters a, b, c, etc., placed after the year of publication. Example: Van der Geer et al. (2010); Fung (2006a, b).
- Reference style in the list: References should be arranged first alphabetically and then further sorted chronologically if necessary. More than one reference from the same author(s) in the same year should be identified by letters a, b, c, etc., placed after the year of publication. Example:
